This week, as part of our current "Predators" context, we had a fantastic visit from Falconry UK! We were lucky enough to see some incredible Birds of Prey up close and learn all about how they have adapted to hunt for food.
In Literacy, we have been planning and writing a recount of the visit, using time connectives and adjectives to extend our sentences and ensure our work is exciting and full of detail.
In Numeracy, we have been focusing on number bonds to 10 and 100, and using this knowledge to help us solve some fun mental addition and subtraction problems.
Our Context has focused on food chains and the different roles of plants and animals within them, sorting various animal cards into the correct order from Producer to Apex Predator!
