Playing with pattern

The children have been exploring repeating patterns in a variety of different ways.

The children have been clapping out patterns as well as identifying and copying sound patterns.

In the sensory room, the children have been identifying, copying and extending patterns made on the light table with the little people. Some children even managed to create their own repeating patterns.

The children have also had the opportunity to copy a simple bead pattern on a game on the interactive board.

There have also been a variety of pattern making activities on offer in our maths area too! (Photos to follow shortly)
