This week in maths
2B are working with money, looking at the different values of coins and notes. We are adding them together to find the totals and recording using £.p notation.
2A are looking at capacity, filling various containers, estimating and measuring the amount and describing if there is more/ less than a litre.
Both classes are using branching diagrams on Hwb, to classify birds.
We are enjoying the last few days of the term by sequencing the Easter story and completing Easter crafts, including making cards and chocolate nests. On Thursday the church will be visiting to complete an Easter workshop with the children.
Kerb craft will also be making their last visit to deliver the final part of the programme.
After Easter we will be starting our new topic of minibeasts.
