During the first few weeks of term, children were assessed as part of the new Foundation Phase Profile.
These four areas of assessment are:
Personal and Social Development, Well Being and Cultural Diversity
Language, Literacy and Communication skills
Mathematical Development
Physical Development
This assessment is compulsory for all Reception aged children in Wales during their first 6 weeks of school.
