Pontprennau Primary School is Cardiff's first cashless primary school. All payments for school meals, trips, snack money, etc. are made online via the ParentPay website.
A letter with login details for ParentPay is sent home to parents once their child has started with us; this is usually within 3 days but may take slightly longer at peak admission times (September, January, and the start of Summer term).
If you have more than one child in the school, or a child in another school that already uses ParentPay, then you can manage them from one account. You will still need the login details provided by us but do not click the activation link on the ParentPay website, click "Add Child" instead.
As an alternative to using the website, parents can directly top-up accounts by using cash at your local PayPoint outlet. For those parents/guardians who wish to pay by PayPoint please contact the school office. Please note it takes up to 48 hours for PayPoint payments to be processed. (Payments via the ParentPay website are processed straight away.)
The management of the account is your responsibility, parents must ensure there is enough money on the account when needed. This is particularly important for School Dinners and Breakfast Club, which must be paid for in advance.
