In Year 2 this week we are investigating mini beasts through sculpture, describing and classifying them. We are using branching on hwb, researching mini beasts and creating independent fact files. We are also enjoying using programmable toys to move around mini beast mats.
Using the Penpals scheme we are further developing our handwriting, with many of us starting to join.
In welsh we are practising our language patterns, learning prayers, participating in assemblies and continuing with our daily Helpwr Heddiw roles.
In readiness for our end of year assessments we are revisiting our previous topics in maths and continuing to practise reading scales of weight, temperature and capacity.
