Building Bridges
Using the story of ‘The Three Billy Goats Gruff’ the children experimented with the wooden building blocks to create their own structures. We used real images of bridges located in Wales as a stimulus for building. The children studied the images and together we talked about the features of different types of bridges. Some children were very eager to create pedestrian bridges and use them in their play, whilst others built bridges for cars and trucks.
