We had a very busy start to the new term. The children were keen to share the different journeys they had made during the Easter break. To help develop oracy skills, the children talked about their journey in front of a group before writing.
This coming week we will be writing postcards. If you have any unwanted postcards at home we would welcome them.
In maths we were learning about teen numbers - 10 and some more.
The children are interested in telling the time and some have been keen to wear watches to school. We are happy for them to do this if the watch is analogue and is worn appropriately.
Although we are well into Spring the weather is still chilly. Please ensure that your child wears a coat to school as we go outside everyday and it is quite chilly in the mornings in particular.
