I'll huff, and I'll puff, and I'll blow your house down...
The story of ‘The Three Little Pigs’ was shared with the children. They enthusiastically used the story stones to retell the story, joining in with repeated refrains and sequencing the events in the story. The children explored the materials used by the three little pigs to build their houses, and together we discussed the properties of the straw, sticks and bricks. The children experimented with the materials and attempted to build a house of straw, a house of sticks and a house of bricks, just like the three little pigs!
