Hibernation habitats

We listened to the story of "The very helpful hedgehog". The children shared their ideas about what they already know about hedgehogs. Then we listened to a song about all different animals that hibernate during the winter months. The children were challenged to make a hibernation den / cave / nest for an animal using a variety of materials. Then the children wrote labels and sentences to go with their creations.
