We had a very busy start to the second half of the Autumn Term. On Wednesday the children took part in an activity day focused on Diwali. In class groups they travelled around the school and participated in six different activities related to Diwali. On Friday, parents and family members were invited to school in the afternoon to participate in Pori Dwry Stori Rhyme Time activities. Visitors spent time in the classrooms before the Reception children performed some of the songs they have been learning in English and Welsh. More information about the programme can be found here https://www.poridrwystori.org.uk/.
PE and Library will resume as normal this coming week. Please make sure your child has brought their PE kit to school in a labelled bag. They will be kept in school and sent home at the end of term.
All children have taken home Reading Logs and activities to be completed at home. Book Bags should be brought to school every day with the Reading Log and any related books and activities inside. ISpy activity cards need to be returned to school. Please check Book Bags regularly and enjoy sharing books with your child at home. If there is anything else in the Book Bags that we need to be aware of (e.g.returned paperwork) please make us aware as we do not check Book Bags daily.
Bug Club log in details have been stuck in the Reading Log Books. If you are experiencing difficulty logging on to Bug Club please let us know.
School PE and Book Bags can be purchased at the School Office.
We are looking for old catalogues, comics or magazines to use in school and would welcome any donations.
Thank you!
