Holiday News
The children enjoyed sharing their Holiday News to the class or as small groups. The children drew their picture of their favourite holiday memory before writing independently. Everyone then self assessed their work using our Mr. Men characters. Mr. Happy says "I am happy with my work" while Mr Scatterbrain says "I think I can do better". The children choose their own Mr Men character and the adult working with them scribes what they say about their work. Here are a few pieces of our writing in Year One.
