Three little pigs counting and number recognition
In Nursery, we have been practising counting objects accurately and have been learning to recognise numbers.
On the Clevertouch board the children had the opportunity to practise their accurate counting skills and matched the correct number to each set of objects.
Remember to keep counting at home - you can count anything!
We will continue to practise recognising numbers in Nursery but practise at home too, numbers are everywhere so encourage your child to spot them when out and about.
Every child is at a different stage with their number recognition, remember to practise recognising numbers 1-3 first, then when confident introduce numbers to 5, before extending to 10 and even above.
