Week beginning 12/11/18
This week in literacy we did our big write for our 'talk for write' story. Having previously used actions to perform the story and drawn and innovated story maps, we produced some fantastic writing.
In maths this week our focus was on money. We got to visit our special class pet shop and use money to pay for different pets, looking at the price tags to find out the amount.
Our topic work involved learning all about what a pet needs and we made posters to advertise the pet shop.
The enhanced provision included opportunities to cut and stick coins to pay for items, shopping lists for a pet, making a home for animals using straws, pet grooming and creating pet books.
