Designing dragons!
In our enhanced provision this week we had lots of activities all with a Welsh theme, to help us celebrate St Davids Day.
On our investigation table we had observational drawings of daffodils, leeks and dragons. In our small world we had the castle with Knights. In our mark making area the children were creating their own story books with a Welsh theme. On the iPads we had the 2simple paint app. The children who wanted to have a go, were encouraged to design their own dragon and either think of words to describe their dragon or create a story about their dragon. A teacher scribed their ideas for them under their dragon designs.
