Library & Reading books

Every Thursday, your child will have the opportunity to choose a story book from our library to take home. This is a story you can read to your child at home. For example, at bed time. 

Your child will read from their levelled reading book with an adult at least once per week. 
Please read with your child at home for a minimum of 5-15 minutes per day. You can read from their levelled book, practise Tricky High Frequency Words or choose a book from Bug Club. 

Please return your reading books on a Thursday along with their book bag. These will be returned at the end of every Friday for you to enjoy at home. 

P.E

P.E takes place every Tuesday and Friday, please wear trainers and comfortable clothing.

Snack

Healthy snacks only please and NO NUTS as we have some severe allergies in the school.

Home Learning

Each inquiry (usually each term) your child will be able to complete activities stated on their home learning grid within the purple home learning book. 
We will check books at the end of each term/inquiry and update for the following topic. 
 

Belongings
Please ensure all of your child's personal belongings (coats, jumpers, book bags, snack pots, bottles etc) are clearly labelled. This is to avoid items being lost or misplaced.
