Our story focus this week is

"The Christmas Story”

There will be lots of experiences and activites on offer to the children based around the story within the Nursery classroom. 

The children will start the week this week by performing their Christmas Concert. 

Afternoon Nursery will be performing on Monday afternoon and Morning Nursery will be performing their concert on Tuesday morning. 

The children will still enjoy their library sessions and Morning Nursery children will have their sessions on Monday but Afternoon Nursery will have their sessions on Tuesday. 

The activities on offer to the children in the classroom this week will all have a Christmas theme. The children will continue to design and write their Christmas cards on the Clevertouch board and will have the opportunity to make and bake gingerbread in our cooking sessions. In our modelling area the children will be able to create salt doh Christmas decorations and within our maths area the children will be designing and printing their own wrapping paper using Christmas repeating patterns.

In our outdoor area with children will be able  to transform in to Christmas elves and role play in Santas workshop. 

We will also continue with our Phonics (the sound of the week is "n”), Welsh and Little Big Maths carpet sessions as well as our Phonics, Circle Time, Music & Play to Learn group sessions.
