PS2
This half term, Criw Cymraeg will collaborate and develop ideas to create an assembly that they will deliver to their peers in PS2. The topic of this assembly will focus on religious and cultural celebrations and how Welsh people celebrate Christmas in Wales (Article 14 - freedom of thought and religion.)
PS3
This term, PS3 Criw Cymraeg have worked hard to promote the use of Welsh across the school, supporting pupils’ right to an education and their right to an identity by celebrating and encouraging the use of our national language. We gathered pupil voice to ensure that everyone’s views were taken into account and used this feedback to create a purposeful plan. To support the use of Welsh in daily routines, we worked diligently and creatively to create “Ga i…” posters to display near the kitchen, helping both pupils and staff speak more Welsh when ordering food at breakfast club or lunchtime. We spent the second half of our Criw Cymraeg sessions planning, preparing, creating and shaping our 'Snap' vocabulary game to help support Welsh vocabulary and reading! We demonstrated leadership and collaboration by creating all the resources for our game and then we got to teach PS2 Criw Cymraeg how to play it.
