Abacus Maths
As a school we teach maths to the children through a combination of schemes.
We use both "Little Big Maths" and "Abacus".
These approaches allow the children to experience maths activities in fun practical ways before they start recording their maths work.
Very shortly each pupil will be given an "Active Learn" username and password.
This will give all of our families access on to a website where the children will be allocated a variety of maths activities, relevant to their stage of learning, which they can enjoy at home.
The website is fun for the children and the activities will reinforce the learning in school.
The children can collect points in the online activities to open up new activities and rewards.
