Please see below for an overview of our context for learning which will give you an idea of what exciting experiences the children may have during the context.

Weekly learning experiences

Please check this section regularly to see what learning experiences are being offered to the children each week.

Week beginning 14th January 2019

Welcome back to school and a Happy New Year to you all.

We will begin with some great news! We raised £180 during our enterprise week in December. So thank you for your contributions and for supporting us-we were very pleased. Over the next few weeks the children will decide what we will spend the money on.

Our new context is called Muck, Mess and Mixtures!

This week the pupils will have the opportunity to make gloop and experiment with bubble mixture. They will be learning the story of 'The Magic Porridge Pot' and innovating the story by changing the characters and setting. We will also be looking at the work of the artist Carl Warner and trying our hands at creating our own work in his style using charcoal, watercolour and oil pastels.
