Our main focus in math this week has been on place value. The children have been partitioning numbers into tens and units and making the amounts using 10p and 1p coins. We have also been completing a coin investigation, finding different ways to make 5p and 10p.
As part of our enterprise week we have been making the products that the children designed previously, ready to sell in our pop up shop. We have also been writing about the products and evaluating them.
On Wednesday we finally got to perform 'The Snowman at Sunset' to both the rest of the school and the families of the children. We are very proud of the children for learning their lines, joining in with the songs as well as being brave and standing up in front of so many people.
The enhanced provision provided opportunities to make shape pictures, write letters to Father Christmas, make paper chains, create Christmas lists and design wrapping paper using stencils.
