We follow Cornerstones curriculum content to follow a project each term. Our context for Learning this term is called :
Hello from the Reception team. Its a new Academic year already and we can't wait to meet your children. We hope you received your welcome pack, including your child's start date and time and look forward to welcoming them into their Reception classes and for some, Pontprennau School. We will have lots of fun activities for the children to explore both indoors and out in order to settle happily and meet new friends.
Archived Weekly Learning Experiences
Important Dates
3/09/18 - Inset Day
4/09/18 - Staggered entry from this date. Each child will have an individual start date and time, this will have been given to parents at the meeting on 16th July.
13/09/18 - Roald Dahl Day - Dress up as your favourite character for £1 donation.
25/09/18 - Bug Club meeting with parents, led by Mrs Latham - time and location within school tbc
29/10/18- 02/10/18 - Half Term - no school
