Year 2 have already experienced a day at St Fagan's where they discovered what it was like to live in the past. We visited the old school house and completed a Victorian wash day workshop. The children found this very interesting, but quite hard work!
We will be working hard to become ethical, informed citizens who are knowledgeable about the society now and in the past. Throughout this topic we will find out about at the differences between houses, lifestyle and education and will compare the past and present.
Hygiene and being healthy is also a big focus during this topic. Pupils will learn about the importance of a healthy balanced diet and the impact of exercise on physical and mental health.
