Naming our chicks and chicken fact books

Our chicken eggs have been the focus for the activities in the classroom this week. 

The children listened to a variety of chicken fact books. 

Using their phonics knowledge the children wrote their very own fact books.

The children also carried out mini surveys to find out which were the most popular names for the chicks. The children excitedly made tally charts and then made graphs to represent their data collected.
