In Year 2 this week we will be looking at a famous artist and creating our own art work. We will be focusing on the Symbolism painting style. We will be using different techniques to create a background, then experimenting with paints and techniques to build up a mini
beast.
In welsh we are continuing to practise language patterns that the children have learned previously. Using a combination of Helpwr Heddiw, question and answer, games and songs we are revisiting and expanding responses.
We will be using persuasive writing to write a letter to Ms Dykes and using convincing arguments.
As part of the carousel we will be doing branching diagrams on Hwb to sort mini beasts.
In P.E we are continuing to focus on ball skills, including passing, throwing and catching, bouncing and aiming at a target, thinking about controlling and tracking the ball.
