The Dinosaur Song

 

On Monday 1 dinosaur came to me and said,

I have got a great big body and a little tiny head,

We played and played all day, then he went away,

Goodbye dinosaur, see you another day!

 

On Tuesday 2 dinosaurs came to me and said,

I have got a great big body and a little tiny head,

We played and played all day, Then they went away,

Goodbye dinosaurs, see you another day!

 

(Repeat for all days of the week with numbers getting bigger each day)

 

Animal finger counting rhyme

 

1 big, 2 big, 3 big dinosaurs,

4 big, 5, big, 6 big dinosaurs,

7 big, 8 big, 9 big dinosaurs,

10 big dinosaurs go roar roar roar!

 

(Repeat for “red dragons”, “Little puppies”, “Baby kittens”)

5 little men in a flying saucer flew around the world one day,

They looked left and right but they didn’t like the sight,

So one man flew away,

Whoosh!

Ten in the bed

He hit his head and gave a shout,

Please remember to tie a knot in your pyjamas,

Single beds were only made for 9!

Eating the most delicious grubs,

5 currant buns in a baker’s shop,

Round and fat with a cherry on the top,

Along came a boy with a penny one day,

Bought a currant bun and took it away!

 

5 little ducks

 

5 little ducks went swimming one day,

Over the hills and far away,

Mummy duck said “Quack Quack Quack Quack”,

But only 4 little ducks came swimming back!

5 Little monkeys

 

5 little monkeys jumping on the bed,

1 fell off and bumped his head,

Mummy rang the doctor and the doctor said,

No more monkeys jumping on the bed!
