Every Wednesday your child will visit the library, here at school. They will listen to, and share stories together and then choose their own books from the library to bring home. Please ensure your child returns their library book every Wednesday.
Share the book with your child and talk about its features. Talk about the difference between a story book and an information book. Point out the features of the book including title, author, illustrator, and read the blurb to them before opening the book. Encourage your child to look at the pictures and tell the story using the pictures.
We ask that you take great care of our books in order that other children can enjoy reading them after you and your child have returned them to school.
