Week Beginning 27th February 2017
As an introduction to the new Context for Learning 'How does that building stay up?' the children will be shown a collection of video clips of buildings under constructions, images of different types of buildings and equipment typically used by builders including scaffolding, diggers, building materials. The children will work collaboratively in pairs / small groups to share their knowledge and create a mind map of what they already know, and what they would like to find out about.
On Wednesday 1st March the children will celebrate St David's Day. Competitions will include painting, handwriting, singing and reciting. Photographs and videos from the Eisteddfod will be added to the class page of the website.
