This week,
In Literacy, we have read the story of "The owl who was afraid of the dark". We have used this story as a base to write our own 'dilemma' story, with our own alternate characters and problems. We have included all the fantastic writing techniques we have been learning such as 2A sentences and Time connectives, as well as new 'First and Last' sentences.
In Numeracy, we have been very busy, covering lots of topics, from telling the time to identifying the features of different 3D shapes.
This week we have continued our brilliant science experiment, comparing the speed of humans versus a number of different predators. We used IT to plot graphs of how fast we can run compared to a King Penguin, and lots of us were faster!
Everyone has worked really hard and it has been another fantastic week in Year 3!
