With huge thanks to everyone who supported the Summer raffle and fair, we raised an amazing profit of
£5440.54
Thank you to all of the fabulous people who braved the sunshine for our first ever FoPPS summer fair to come and support the fair, spending money, getting faces painted, hands tattooed, soaking teachers... You totally made the event!
Thank you to all the parents, guardians and teachers who volunteered to help... Those who baked, cooked, helped on stalls, donated prizes, ran tin can alley, decorated biscuits, tattooed hands, drew caricatures, provided football skills, Pontprennau Church for loaning tables, those who loaned gazebos, dressed as Mr Tumbler (in polyester in the scorching heat!), got splatted by kids with good aim and all the other amazing things that meant the event was such a success!
Thank you to all the craft stall holders, Highfields Church for litter picking, Police, Mexican and Portuguese food vans, Tonibell ice cream vans, bouncy castles, and other organisations who added so much to the day.
Thank you to Moginie James for sponsoring the event adverts, Fattoush for donating all the profits from their food stall, Memory lane cakes, Brace's Bread, Kingsmill and Meals on wheels for all the food they donated, Rotary for lending us the humongous raffle drum and Tots Play for running a session for us for free!
Thank you to all the parents and grandparents of FoPPS (that's us!) for all the evenings, daytime hours and WhatsApp messaging to pull this off!
