We have been very busy in school learning our Christmas concert songs and words. 

Please could we ask all of our families to continue to practise their child's words with them over the weekend and next week.

Please encourage your child to say them with a loud and clear voice. If anyone is unsure of the words their child need to learn, please pop in to see us. 

Thank you to everyone  who has already brought their costumes in. Please could we ask everyone else to bring  their costumes in to school by Tuesday 8th December. If you are having any difficulties getting a costume for your child, please pop in to see us. 

This week our story focus is "The Christmas Story"

Language and Literacy

During our literacy sessions we will be recapping the phonic sounds & songs from the last few weeks and will be focussing on learning the letter sounds y, x, ch & sh. 

The children will be following instructions to make christmas biscuits and will also be practising their writing skills to write their Christmas cards. 

Creative Development & Knowledge and Understanding of the world

It’s that time of year where we will be very busy practising for our Christmas concert this week. We will be practicing our lines, singing the songs and practising performing on our brand new stage! Please help at home too by practicing any words from the play that your child might have brought home from school. 

One of our focussed tasks this week will be for the children to create their very own Christmas cards too.
