This week in Year 2 our maths focus is revising times tables, using 'clever counting' to help us. We are also reminding ourselves that division is the inverse operation of multiplication.
In Guided Group Reading (GGR) we are continuing to read in groups as well as starting to use dictionaries to look up the meaning of words, spelling words from the high frequency lists, developing our welsh reading and completing follow up activities relating to the books we read.
In literacy we are learning about suffixes, including ing, ed, est.
Our carousel this week includes creating a dinosaur time line, using notes we have made previously. We will also be painting our mod roc dinosaurs, creating animations on hwb, making our own dinosaur games, exploring the dinosaur tuft spot and mud kitchen and continuing to practice our handwriting, following the Penpals scheme.
